Shop smart online!

Top Tips on how to be a Savvy Shopper online:

1) To compare prices online the quickest way is to do a google search, it’s a good way to compare prices and find reviews on the products you are buying.

2) Use Discount codes, keep an eye on my Daily Deals for a list of A-Z on Discount codes, or sign up to retailers newsletters for discounts. Online retailers try to reel you in by offering incentives to shop online when you sign up to their marketing emails. It can mean a percentage discount code, or a straight discount off your first shop.

3) Check both the brand website and concession websites that also stock that brand – sometimes brands operate their own online stores AND have concessions on the sites of other stores that sell a range of brands. Check both and you could save.

Here are some stores that offer this kind of multi-brand discount, and some of the brands they stock – check my daily deals page here to see what codes, promotions and sales are available:

Top Tip to get free delivery! Do you ever get to checkout and not finish your purchase because of the €4.99 delivery! "Buy MORE, pay LESS!"

Always check what you need to spend to get free delivery – if you're just below it, it can be cheaper to add an extra item than pay for delivery. Search for items, sort - Low to high!

Wait for bargains – particularly at Christmas; When it comes to online shopping, timing is often everything, and that's particularly the case in the run-up to Christmas.

Christmas sets are generally amazing value and you also get to try a product that you wouldn't normally buy for yourself! Advent calendars are great for this!

Overall, always remember, ask yourself "is it worth it?" This is a way of saying that while you may use it, could your cash be better spent on anything else? Or could the same money be used on something more practical?
