Next Sale is one of the most anticipated sale for us bargain hunters & shopaholics alike! Every year Next has four big sales events where you can pick up cut price clothing & homeware. Spring, Summer, Autumn & St. Stephen’s Day sale. (Predicted date below). But, it can be one of the most frustrating online sales in Ireland!

One of my top tip to get the best bargains is to know when the sales are on! Predicted sale date goes live on the 8th July, doors open 6am… so get yourself ready with some handy tips below.

Here’s are a few tips, to help you get a bargain:

Next Online sale, can be a (one of the most) frustrating sales!!

1) Next sale goes live in UK website a few days previous (VIP Sales) before the Irish sale, most items get cleared out before Irish customers can get good bargains.

2) Next clear out their online baskets just before the sale begins, so it can be difficult to build up your basket to guarantee first dibs. My suggestion around this would be, to write down the code of what you are looking to buy & put it into the search bar on the first day of the sale. This can be very time consuming though.

- Can I return Next Sale items? The return policy on sale items is 7 days - But always ask when you are at the till in store.

- Check out the price tag labels few days before the sale start. Staff will be in store on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday before to set up the sale & you can spot which items by looking at the labels on the clothes. Staff will mark the labels with a pen close to the barcode. This usually is written as a letter and then a number, for example “F14”. Ignore the letter, but the number normally indicates what the product will be discounted to!!

- Avoid big flagship stores: They are usually the most busy stores and will attract the most crowds & longer waiting times to get in. For this reason it could be better to go to a smaller store.
