In 2021, due to lockdowns, the 70% sale didn't start until the end April.
In 2020, the 70% off sale started on Friday 31st January & then on Friday March 6th, it went up to 90% off.
We are now passed the sale date in 2020, so rumours are circulating that the 2022 sales could start next week, from Monday 14th March to Friday 18th March, so I think it's likely to start soon!! MOAD
Usually the sale is instore only and includes leftover Christmas gift sets from the likes of No7, Soap & Glory, Ted Baker, and more - so we expect to see discounts on similar items this year. Woohoo

Boots annual 70% off sale is always highly anticipated, with us bargain hunters expecting big discounts on great brands.
While the sale's start date is a closely guarded secret, discounts usually rise to at least 70% off in the last week of January - typically a Thursday / Friday.
Boots' annual 70% off sale gives us shoppers the chance to bag a bargain as the retailer clears out leftover Christmas stock.
Due to lockdown restrictions in 2021, the Boots 70% off sale was delayed and instead launched at the end of April. The sale was only in store & had no stock available in smaller stores.
In 2019, the Boots 70% sale started on the 31st January 2019, which was a Thursday!
There’s been no word yet from Boots on whether the sale will go ahead as normal, or will be pushed back again as it was last year. However, given that there are currently no restrictions in place, it’s likely that the sale will go ahead this month.
70% sale often includes big brands such as No7, Soap and Glory, Lancome, Sculpted by Aimee Connolly, Ted Baker and more.
Boots currently has an up to 50% off sale running, which has traditionally been boosted to 70% at the end of the month.
